Publish information on behalf of the organisation that I work for

Yes, Sidestand supports both organizations and individual users. Each organization must have a unique domain name and at least one administrator. There is an important requirement: users must have an email address using the same domain as the organization.

For example, if you register as teamplayer@example.com and no organization exists with the domain example.com, then Sidestnd will let you can create an organization with the domain name example.com and become its administrator.
As an administrator, you can publish content on behalf of the organization. Administrators also serve as the primary contact for questions and requests from other users. Your personal user details will remain private in these interactions.

If example.com was already registered in our system, then it cannot be created again. But if you register as a new user with an emailaddress using that domain, then you will be added automatically to the organization's member group. This grants you access to all information published by your organization, including content that is restricted from users of different organizations.

Removal of someone else's content

There is a Report flag at the bottom of each work. Use this option to notify the site admin, who will look into the matter.

Sidestnd Plus

Sidestnd offers different access levels for users. Guest (unregistered and/or not logged-in) users receive limited content access with restricted bandwidth (throttling) and cannot publish content. Registered free tier users can publish their own works either as individuals or as a representative (admin) of an organisation. The free tier offers almost complete functionality, but it has some traffic and file size limitations that might constrain enterprise usage.

Sidestnd Plus is a paid subscription that removes most of the limitations and offers additional guarantees for long-term use. Paid plans are explicitly connected to an organisation, not individual users. When an organisation subscribes all its members and works receive significantly more generous data allowances along with several enterprise features.

subscription options

There are two ways to purchase a Sidestnd Plus subscription.

First, Sidestnd Plus is listed on AWS Marketplace. AWS Marketplace is a digital catalog with thousands of software listings from independent software vendors that makes it easy to find, test, buy, and deploy software that runs on Amazon Web Services (AWS). As a trusted and secure online store, AWS Marketplace offers a streamlined procurement process with flexible pricing options and simplified billing. By purchasing through AWS Marketplace, you benefit from:

  • Secure transactions backed by AWS's enterprise-grade infrastructure
  • Consolidated billing through your existing AWS account
  • Simplified procurement that may already be approved by your organization
  • Instant access to your subscription without complex licensing processes

Second, a subscription can be purchased directly from Groundworkdatamanagement. Prices are identical to AWS Marketplace.

available tiers

There are currently two Sidestnd Plus tiers available:

  1. Sidestnd Plus
  2. Sidestnd Premium
